Foundation for a Boundless Future

Our educational philosophy begins in the Early Years, where natural curiosity is inspired through hands-on exploration and purposeful play. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework for England. This curriculum sets the highest global standards for early learning, development, health, and safety.

The EYFS curriculum ensures that your child is fully supported to develop 'school readiness'—meaning they gently build the essential social, emotional, and academic foundations needed for a smooth transition into primary school and a lifetime of learning.

Nursery (Ages 3 to 4)

Nursery (Ages 3 to 4)

Students enjoying roleplay
Our Nursery offers a gentle, welcoming introduction to school life in a bright, secure, and nurturing environment. We follow a child-centred approach where learning feels like an adventure.

High Staff-to-Child Ratio
To ensure your child receives consistent individual attention, each class is led by one qualified Teacher and three dedicated Nursery Officers.
Small Class Sessions
A maximum of 25 children attend each session, allowing for a highly supportive group dynamic.
Flexible Attendance
We offer flexible attendance options to support your child's very first steps away from home, with a minimum commitment of five sessions per week.
Learning Through Play
Each session is balanced with plenty of opportunities for active, child-led free play and directed tasks in cozy, small-group settings. Children are encouraged to grow their social, emotional, and physical skills naturally.
Important Enrolment Note
To ensure all children can participate comfortably and safely in our daily programme, children must be fully toilet trained before starting in our Nursery, in accordance with our Conditions of Enrolment.
Reception (Ages 4 to 5)

Reception (Ages 4 to 5)

Students reading books
Reception marks your child's entry into the main school. Following the structured EYFS curriculum, children continue to explore the world in a secure, vibrant, and engaging environment.

Class Structure & Support
We maintain small classes with a maximum of 22 children. Each class is supported by a dedicated Teacher and a full-time Nursery Officer or Teaching Assistant.
Age Alignment
Children enter Reception in the academic year that they turn 5 years old. In line with the British system, our academic year runs from 1 September to 31 August.
Balanced Academic Foundations
Basic literacy (reading and writing) and numeracy (basic mathematical concepts) are introduced through engaging daily lessons, creating the building blocks for future academic confidence.
Modern Foreign Languages
To honour our international context, either English or Dutch is introduced as a modern foreign language, encouraging early linguistic agility.
Year 1 (Ages 5 to 6)

Year 1 (Ages 5 to 6)

Student engaging in a classroom activity
In Year 1, children transition smoothly from the play-based foundation of EYFS into Key Stage 1 of the National Curriculum used in England. This world-class pathway introduces students to the essential, structured knowledge they need to grow as confident global citizens.

Small Class Sizes
Each Year 1 class has a maximum of 22 students, led by a qualified Teacher and a supportive Nursery Officer or Teaching Assistant.
Creative Lesson Delivery
While structure increases, our teachers maintain a rich, stimulating environment with plenty of space in the day to go beyond the curriculum. Lessons are exciting, interactive, and tailored to build confidence.
Dual-Language Excellence
English and Dutch are taught as additional languages by expert specialist teachers. For children who speak Dutch at home, we offer a dedicated Native Dutch programme to support bilingual fluency.
Specialist Enrichment
The weekly routine is enriched with specialist-led music lessons, physical activities, and creative discovery sessions.
