We are delighted to invite delegates to the 6th iteration of our annual Model United Nations conference at The British School of Amsterdam. Our era is marked by the pace of our technological and scientific advancements; however, these are multiplying the challenges that demand decisive action from our leaders. This year’s theme, “Promoting Accountability and Responsible Leadership”, reflects the urgent need to place emphasis on fostering a sense of stability and security within the global community.

Guest Speaker

This year, we have the privilege of hosting Mr Nicholas Aiossa as our guest speaker for BSAMUN 2026. Mr Aiossa is currently the director of Transparency International EU, where he has worked since 2014. Over the past decade, he has coordinated several of TI EU’s efforts in advocating for the EU Whistleblower Directive and the Rule of Law conditionality regulation. Additionally, he has led their political integrity team to improve the integrity of the EU’s institutions. Before joining TI EU, he worked for the European Parliament on topics such as Human Rights, and Transatlantic Relations. We are sure that Mr Aiossa will leave us enlightened and provide indispensable insights on how to embrace our conference theme of: ‘Promoting Accountability and Responsible Leadership’.
