In 2019 the students achieved a 100% pass rate in the following subjects: Art, Business Studies, Chemistry, Dutch, Economics, English, French, Geography, Global Perspectives, History, Media Studies and Spanish. In addition, all pupils completing the EPQ this year attained an A* or A grade.
The British School Sixth Formers achieved an overall 97% pass rate with 41% achieving A* or A, and 69% achieving A* to B. 86% of all A Level passes were at A* to C.
Ms Mitchell, Head of the Senior School, commented, “I am extremely proud of the hard work that has been achieved, historically these are the best set of results to date and are a culmination of continued effort throughout the course from both staff and pupils. So really well done! We set challenging target grades for our pupils and the vast majority have met or exceed these grades enabling them to gain entry to their first choice universities.

The Year 11 pupils for 2019 have achieved an excellent set of results that they should be rightly proud of. These are the best every results achieved for IGCSE. The pupils sit a combination of IGCSEs and GCSEs. The majority of subjects taken at are IGCSE that use grades A* to G. The majority of GCSE subjects in England now use the new grades of 9 to 1. Well done to all the pupils and to the staff who have worked so hard to get these grades.
