b'The NewsSenior SchoolThe Senior SchoolAs we approach the end of the academic year it is a time to say goodbye to those leaving us and to celebrate the achievements of our pupils. This term has been an especially busy term for our Year 11, 12 and 13 pupils who have been completing their GCSE, AS and A Level examinations. We look forward to honouring our Class of 2023 at their end of year celebration, but would like to thank them for their contribution to the school during their time here and wish them the best of luck in their next steps, be that at universities around the world or into the world of work.We would also like to take this opportunity to say farewell and the best of luck to the pupils and families that will be leaving The BSA for new adventures at the end of the term. We also have to say goodbye to four members of staff, Mr Eason, our Geography teacher, and Mx Bayode, our Art teacher who are moving back to the UK to be closer to family. Mr Hedstrom, our English and Humanities teacher, who is moving back to Australia, and Mr Santori, our Economics and Business teacher, who is taking on a new role at an International school in the Netherlands. We know you will join us all in wishing these pupils, families and staff the very best in their future endeavours.OUR MATHS CHALLENGE WINNERS!This term has seen the pupils in the Senior School showcase their abilities, interests and talents in a wide variety of curriculum and extra- curricular activities. From PE to Geography, Drama to Maths, we have seen the Senior school pupils take up a variety of enriching trips, sporting events and academic competitions with great success. Lots of things to make us feel really proud of our school and we hope you enjoy reading about them.Finally, we would like to say that it has been a real pleasure and honour to have had the opportunity to work as Acting Co -Heads during this academic year. We would like to extend our thanks to all parents, pupils and teachers for their continued support and help making the school such a special community.
